Emotional Health and Mental Well-being
At Frimley Junior School, we believe the health and well-being of our children underpins every aspect of school life. Emotional well-being is a clear indicator of academic achievement and success later in life. Through our teaching and guidance in school, we aim to prepare our pupils for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of adult life by enabling them to make informed decisions about how to keep themselves healthy and happy. Well-being provision in the classroom can lead to an increase in resilience, improved focus and positive behaviour. We would like to offer a similar provision for families, parents, carers and the wider school community by giving you access to guidance which can support wellbeing at home.
We now have a Family Link Worker Service which parents can access via email or the school office. Have a look at the flyer below for further information.
